Mahoney’s Pub & Grille Searching for a Chicago Idol at “Road to Fame”

Six-Week Contest to Award a Trip to LA for a Live Gig at “Rush Street”

(CHICAGO) – Hundreds will audition…thousands
will vote… one will win Raod to Fame at Mahoney’s
Pub & Grille!  It’s an opeNovember 5 and Wednesday, October 12 from 7pm to 11pm where vocalists will belt it out, a cappella, in front of a Chicago-studded panel of judges. 

Three judges at each round over the six week
contest will include one of the following: social
and lifestyle writer and editor, Susanna Homan;
Chicago’s favorite Elvis Presley impersonator, Mark “Elvis” Hussman; rotating members of the alternative-rock band, Lovehammers, including brothers Bobby Kourelis and Dino Kourelis and music/entertainment reporter, DJ and all-around guru, Tim Pogo.  These judges will select singers to advance to the semi-finals on Wednesday, November 19 and Wednesday, November 26. Audience participation and voting by text will then allowthose semi-finalists to become finalists on Wednesday, December 3, with everything hinging on Wednesday, December 10, where one winner will be crowned. Also in attendance at the finals, special guests judges: two Hollywood Casting Agents searching for red-hot, Chicago talent!

The grand prize winner of Ticket to Fame will receive round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations in Los Angeles, California, along with $500 spending cash.  Once in LA, they will perform a live gig at a local club appropriately called Rush Street, after the famed Chicago Rush Street, where even more Casting Agents, Talent Scouts and Record Company A&R will be watching.
